A villa garden is the room your home opens onto. The terrace for morning coffee, the lawn where children play, the lighting that stretches the evening and the planting that changes through the seasons all belong to one composition. VAR Design Studio designs and builds villa gardens, and looks after them through their first years.
Every garden starts with a site visit. We study the architecture, the views, sun and wind, existing trees and soil. Then we talk with the family about how the garden will be used: entertaining, the pool surround, a kitchen garden, pets, and how much time will go into upkeep. The design grows out of those answers.
The cost of a villa garden depends less on square metres than on a few key items: the share and material of hard surfaces, the size of trees planted, pools and water features, irrigation automation and lighting. We separate these clearly at design stage and can phase the build if needed.
We draw on the experience of our family nursery, Fulya Peyzaj, which grows ornamental plants, and on the supplier network we have built in the sector since 1992. Knowing which species tolerate a humid Istanbul winter and which handle a dry Aegean summer shapes the first two years of a garden. Our plant schedules come with botanical names and care notes.
The design stage usually takes two to three weeks. Build time depends on the size of the site and the season; we set it out at the first meeting.
Yes. We assess their health first; mature, healthy trees are often a garden's most valuable asset, and we design around them wherever possible.

Yes. If another team will build it, we provide construction documents with quantities and specifications, and can supervise on site.
