PSB Anatolia 2026: Panel on the Woody Plant Guides
At PSB Anatolia 2026, in a panel organised by the Chamber of Landscape Architects (TMMOB), Ömer Tarık Var and Kenan İnce, Deputy Director General for Combating Desertification and Erosion, presented the national woody plant guides that reflect urban identity and adapt to climate change.
In front of officials, visitors, colleagues and student members, the panel discussed giving cities identity through planting, wider use of climate-resilient native species in urban landscapes, and the secondary legislation needed to bring growers, designers and contractors behind a shared goal.
