Ömer Tarık completed his elementary and secondary education in Trabzon(Türkiye), where he was born. As being the son of a landscape architect who has been teaching at the university for years, Tarık has joined the professional trips of his father both in Turkey and abroad, which increased his interests in landscape architecture. Thanks to such influence, he successfully completed his bachelor degree in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Forestry in Karadeniz Technical University (KTU).


Tarık has been to 18 different foreign countries whether for a short or long term. He also lived in Japan for 2 years. Additionally, he studied at some of the pioneer companies in his field in Europe, such as Bruns Pflanzen in Germany and Vannucci Piante in Italy.


In 2015-2018, he managed by proxy the Fulya Peyzaj, which was established in 1992 as a family company for nursery, landscape project designs and implementations. Since 2018, he is a partner of the company. Also, in 2016, he founded VAR Design Studio in Beşiktaş, Istanbul that offers comprehensive projects in the field of landscape architecture, architecture and urban design.

Currently, he is working as a manager in aforementioned two companies.
Besides his professional career, he is still pursuing his academic career where he is continuing his master's degree in the landscape architecture.
